Thumbs up Gemballa 993style hood on (pics)

Not Kirby quality pics of course, but you get the gist.

Gemballa hood directly from Gemballa Germany. Fit is perfect and quality very good. CF hood and light. Don't know exact weight though. If interested I would contact Marco m.battaglia@gemballa.com or contact Sharkwerks or EVOMS.

Stay far away from Gemballa U.S (the worst service ever - don't waste your time working with Heinz as he never returns calls or when you speak to him he says will have parts for you in 2 weeks, etc.. He is full of you know what!. Marco in Germany was a pleasure to work with!

It look awesome!!!

...I think for a 997 is a must this 993 hood style

...much better than the 996...perhaps the 997 lights style are the reason for that.

Keep going, nice job Fred!!!

Nice job Fred, I have said the same about Heinz for years when he screwed me on a GT2 wing back in the day.

VERY nice job Fred. Like I said in another thread, which you supported, I think the TT should have come with a more aggressive hood like the 993's. The stock one is way too plain and not aggressive enough for such a car. This looks really nice. It's crazy how such a small thing makes such a big difference in appearance. Mad props to you!!

What function (other than looks) does the vent serve? Where does the air/rain/water/ etc go? Is it blocked off?
