I am not selling this but just got this special and thought I would pass it on to any who are looking. I have had good luck with Butterfly Photo.

Doesn't look to be a refurb.

It's an LG/Philips panel, a reasonably good one.

You can find reviews from cnet and amazon. Toshiba's are notorious for bad setup from the factory. They always benefit greatly from calibration. I personally think that for $200 more you are better off going with the Panasonic, but it is 15% more and you may not see the difference(after some calibration) or your budget may not allow the jump in price. For the price you can't beat this set.

Shipping is $210.

Personally, I'd spend an extra $100 (from a great merchant) and get this:

http://www.6ave.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=PANTH50PX60U

Much better panel.

Great merchant?!?

6th Ave is nearly as bad as all those Brooklyn Scam internet shops. Bait and switch tactics, etc...

I've purchased many times from them before with no problems. You have had some bad experience with them?

Ah, has a horse in the race, I get it.

Frankly, there are loads of places to get it for $16xx shipped though.

Abe's of Maine is another great place, which has been around for almost 3 decades. They're at $1647.55 shipped.

Beach Camera is at $1683 shipped.

Vanns is at $1699.77 shipped.

No horse in the race, I have no TVs left that are able to be shipped so mine are only for local buyers, which is useless to the originator of this thread. I just have quite a bit of experience buying TVs and wanted to share my .02.

I was not complaining about the price at 6th Ave, just their general business practices. I had a friend buy a TV from them, low price teaser on their website, ordered the set, called back a day later after they took the credit card info that the TV was discontinued and they tried to move him into a TV that was 20% higher in cost. There are many complaints of the same sort from 6th Ave as can be found by searching online.

The big scams are the Brooklyn based TV internet shops, 6th Ave is not as bad as them but close enough for me to steer clear.
