it's not a damn 150hp civic. It's a legitimate 2000hp, 6 second street car. Big *** tachs are that big for a reason and damn useful when you need it. Hook up 2 1/2 times as much power as your poopra and tell me you can read a 3" tach when it cuts a sub 1.0 60ft.

if you didn't notice, it doesn't. Full manual valve body. There isn't a true 'auto' on the planet that will hold up behind that kind of power. It's more like a sequential with a converter drive than an automatic.
Oh and about that tach.. it does a whole **** load more than just sweep a needle across the face. You guys really should learn a thing or two about real race cars before you put your foot deeper in your kunt.

I wasn't trying to sound authoritative, I was asking a question. If you don't ask, how will you learn?

Alcohol cars sometimes use a solenoid shifted planetary tranny like a lenco or B&J. Nothing automatic in the tranny, all computer controlled and will only upshift under load, you have to stop to downshift for the most part.
When Sharky drops 3 seconds off his 1/4 time come back and talk to me about 'just put it in D and go'
Just because it doesn't have a clutch doesn't make it an automatic. And there is no D. There is 3-2-1 which are manual gear selectors. Sit at a stop with it in 3 and you're in 3rd gear, it doesn't think for it's self what so ever.
again, you might want to research what type of parts race cars use.

Dear God, that thing is fricking violent!!
I hope it has a greatly engineered cage and hand of god brakes cause that
thing accerates like a raped ape on acid. I like how he has it de-tuned
to 1000 horsepower for the street.
