Last night I was tailing shank who was in the Ford GT, and a silver modded Mitsubishi EVO and heavily modded White Eagle Talon turbo with bandaids pasted on the car wanted a piece of the Heffner Ford GT TT on North Ave. After feathering first, Shank punched 2nd and was like 5 cars ahead, as if the other two rice buckets went in reverse. Smoked poured out of the tires of the GT but held but kept thrusting forward. After letting off on the top of 2nd (at about 90 mph in courtesy of a local road 35 mph limit and female passenger) , the ricers pass by the GT and puts their flashers on as if they caught up and won. They then continued to run away to go home and jerk off to pics of NOPI girls in their moms basement LOL.


Earlier in the day coming back from the airport hangar, we did some independent pulls on the GT. There was no point in going to 5th gear, as we ran out of space and would be beyond 170mph. Each 3rd gear pull hit like 130ish and 4th to 167. It was merely seconds. This is probably the baddest around town streetable street machine I’ve been in. There are no traction issues in third and forth gear, 1st and 2nd have to be feathered depending on temperature and street conditions. Hopefully it will be up at streets this week or weekend.

Not till the Viper gets back from Silverstate. After that lets see what those crazies can do against a stock bottom end 7 year old car. I think the GT will get the jump just cause it hooks so well, but up top (150+) I'm thinking the viper walks.


PS watch the construction zones on the toll roads, I hear they have speed cameras out. That or just run without plates

 

Sounds good Bill. I'm thinking both of the other cars will have their hands full against the Bowtie...it had done a 9 something at 140 something with a 6spd before last winters major surgery and he was moving it to be more of a highway car.

Regardless, it will be all in good, friendly fun.
