My buddy had his SLR repainted matt black...the pics dont do it justice. And before you ask, the wheels arent actually purple. They're gun metal blue, but for some reason my camera phone made them look purple. Enjoy.

I appreciate the concept of "pushing the envelope" and while I like the "matte" concept, the execution of this particular project is lacking..... maybe its poor picture quality.

 

We need some better piceutes to do justice. We saw nice matt black 722 pic and it look killer. Post more pic please!

Something is wrong with those wheels... not just the colour, but I dunno.. looks too small or something... maybe it's just the camera angle

 

I just saw this car in Bev Hills the other day.

Aside from the rims it is pretty fantastic, and in person they do look purple...

is matte black even a expensive "upgrade" ? ive always thought it would be cheaper seeing as there is no shine and it is probably a bit easier to spray on,

someone enlighten me please on the cost differences of gloss or matte finishes

 

I believe it's a ***** and a half to maintain... something about no coating to protect it or something

 

I love the way it looks, but I agree with everybody else that you at least need better pictures to save the wheels.

EDIT: why not just black wheels?
