my g/f's been looking for this chanel bag that is made of fabric that is yellow. more like pastel yellow as she calls it. it's not one of those big bags. It looks like this one on ebay except the ebay one is pink and leather. any know where i can get one? i'd go to the chanel boutique but this bag was last year's model, i believe (don't quote me)

That is the classic flap, it does not come in fabric, nor does it come in yellow, that style was simply never made.

 

unless it's a fakey, i've seen it. it was a special run of some kind for a spring collection. but that was what I was told. i'm not one for peeking around a bag to see if its fake or not. any ideas on where to get old(er) bags other than ebay?

 

that's nice but 1700$ for a purse is too much IMHO.

 

Can't argue with you there. but i have to compromise... even if i know that these things cost $20 to make. i hate the thought...

 

high end handbags, the real one at least, are well crafted and well worth the money.

the hermés birkin bag for example, $5000-skys the limit, is well worth the money, the waiting list is as vicious as any ferrari dealer's list.

They have it in the new perforated leather here in Paris in yellow at the Chanel boutique...FYI
