FS : Nikon D50, Nikkor 18-135mm, Sigma 70-300mm, Nikkor 50mm Prime
I should mention that last time I mentioned this two 6speeders expressed interest so they may get preference for the next 24hrs, I also don't want to split anything unless the body is sold, I'd rather sell everything together.
So, I have a Nikon D50, it's just over a year old and in great condition, I've never had a single problem with it. I upgraded the original 18-55mm lens to the 18-135mm which is a great all round lens, seems to be quoted by many as sharper than the considerably more expensive 18-200 VR (but without the stabilization of course).
I'll also include a Sigma 70-300,, telephoto/macro and a Nikkor 50mm (I think this is the previous model as it looks a little different to the latest one, I bought it on ebay - but it works fine.
I'll also include a couple of cases, one for the camera and one for the telephoto as well as a remote shutter release so you can trigger the shutter from a distance, nice for shots you want to be in or for avoiding camera shake due to the button press when using a tripod.
The spec is comparable to the D40 / 18-135mm kit here http://www.adorama.com/INKD40K1.html but the D50 of course has the larger body which is better in most peoples hands and none of the limits on lens choices due to the focus motor.
The Sigma lens is like this one http://www.adorama.com/SG70300DANKA.html - not high end but a great lens for the money. The 50mm lens is like this one http://www.adorama.com/NK5018AFDU.ht...f1.8&item_no=2 although as mentioned above it looks slightly different. The 50mm f1.8 seems to be regarded as one of the best deals from Nikon, a fast prime at a reasonable price.
The cases are both LowePro, nicely padded and with velcro straps so you can attach them together or hang them from your belt.
As well as the camera there will be the standard battery, a second battery (non-Nikon but works just as well) as well as the charger, neck strap etc.
Looking to get $850 plus insured shipping, would also consider a trade for a laptop if the deal was right.
I can post pictures of everything later if people would like them, I can also post some pictures taken with it.
Chris.
