Just curious on what the avg. gas mileage is on an E55. i have a 2003 E500 with 20" wheels and get around 20.7 miles and most of my driving is on the highway. 88 miles round trip per day from home to the office

My lease is up in 30 days.
so I am considering a Cayenne or a E55 (both would be white / red brakes - after market wheels - blah blah )

People dont exactly by this car for its great gas mileage

Its a stupid question to ask when considering an E55
Since no one who owns one really gives a **** about their MPG

My 2004 E55 got an easy 24 to 27 mpg on the highway. Hope that helps.

Drove it to vegas once from colorado and that got 22 mpg avg for the trip and I was flying.....

i avg. 21.5 mpg in my small 3.2 I6 on the commute from Weston to Miami, so i'd say you are not hitting it hard enough if you are getting 20.7 from that monster V8

i have an Oxford Green Metallic M3 convertible - not many of these anywhere around - i've got the whole black out theme going, grills, side gills, hyperblack wheels, tint, etc - and a loud exhaust

i also have a Range Rover HSE - black with 22" Diablo's - tint, brush guard, etc - it also has the black out theme going.

lucky w/ your commute to Delray which is about the same milage (35 each way),but a hell of a lot faster w/out the horrific traffic - i guess some on the Sawgrass

M3

RR (i dont have a single pic with the new wheels and tint)

My E63 gets 22 MPG if I'm light on the gas on the highway, cruising 70-80 or so. Nice to know the can do that when you want it to. It sure would be bad to have the car get 12 MPG with a light foot.

wow weston small world

one of my main concerns with the e55 was gas mileage, i had an 05 s4 v8 and city driving i averaged 11-13, and highway around 15-18 and i figure e55 being v8 it would be around the same, then again i have a heavy foot

Never really pay attention, but shoot if I get 15mpg, I'd be surprised.
