Anyone aware of the new porsches coming with the paddle shifters and the E-gear trans ???

 

My dealer told me not for a while. I was curious about the same thing. My next pcar will certainly have that. He said that the last time he was in Germany there were several busted up F1 style trannies lying around. Apparently they're not holding up.

Is your car coming up for a big service soon or something?

Expect it in '09. Likely to show with the intro/launch of the Panamera, and then into the 911 series and beyond. Could show in mid-calendar-year '08 during intro/shows for '09 models.

maybe there will be some info at frankfurt. original rumors where that it would be released with TT cab, obviously that was wrong.

 

Doubt it that Frankfurt will bring any news on that
Proberbly Panamera first, and then the 911's which can take forever

Especially if the rumor is true that they have heat problems

I saw on the Car Magazine that 9FF has got paddle shifters for 997TT

However there isnt any info on their web site.

997 tt paddle shifter for tiptronic cars is already in the market go to FVD.de they sell it with a complete steering wheel , but still its a tiptronic car , i think by 2009 porsche will decide making 911 series with manula paddle shifters , i would love that !
