Question Anyone with Stone Grey Interior/Pics/Opinions?

Local dealership has a Carrara White 997tt with Stone Grey interior, supple leather coming in November. Not having seen this color in person I wanted to see if anyone had some good pics that showed off this color, or had an opinion on how it would look with the Carrara White? Carrara White is my preffered exterior color but I had personally imagined it with a black interior.

Thanks guys!

I have stone gray but no good pics, sorry. The color is darker than I thought it would be which is good. At night it seems almost a lighter shade of black. It seems to wear well and still looks good after 2 years. However, I think the white and black combo is the way to go.

I have stone on my TT. Had the charcoal on my C2S and wanted a change. I personally love it. Its more of a clay color and is hard to photograph. I'll try and dig up some pics later.

tsmithmdtx, I agree I think the white with black is a great combo, but unless I have one built to my specifications that color combo has been hard for me to come by out here.

I have seen some pictures on the web and porsche site but they don't give a good feel for how the stone interior color looks. Some of the photos make the stone look almost black and from my understanding it is a noticably lighter shade.

The car coming in has full leather + a number of carbon accents. I only wish it was two tone with black and stone grey or solid black. I think the carbon accents will look stunning against either color though.

Eric, Thanks for those pictures. The second one you posted does a good job showing it off. I see it is on a white car as well. Were you a fan?

If I was you I would get the color combo you want even if it means waiting longer. Stone is OK and looks good with a gray exterior but not on white if you ask me. Here is a nice one for sale at a porsche dealership here in TX.

I had stone grey on my 997S and currently have black on my tt. Both colors work with white. The stone grey is a tough color to photograph and goes real well with Arctic silver. I think you also need to look at how well the car is optioned out for you (arriving in November). If you can wait a bit longer ordering one today ahould get to you by the end of the year so you might consider building your vehicle exactly the way you want it (the option list seems to be endless).
