Look what the fedex man brought me...

I pulled the trigger on a set of Fabspeed Gen 3 exhaust for my Turbo. thanks to all the good recs on the boards. Also a special thanks to Joe and Jay at Fabspeed who took time to discuss my options and answer all my questions. Truly good customer service is hard to find these days, the guys at Fabspeed are the best. Speaking of the best, the quality of these things are amazing! Nice welds, mirror polish they are truly works of art!
I can't wait to get them installed and compare to some of the other exhausts out there. I chose the version 3/moderates based on Chris (TTS) and Joe's advice. If I'm not 100% satisfied I can switch for the version 2/ quiets.
I'm stoked!!<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

sort of an inside joke, but if I am not mistaken those towels that he has rested the exhaust on are scrub towels from the OR.

Congradulations and enjoy your faster TT, now for their Air-intake system (looks cool), FS Tips and an ecu upgrade.

I have their products on my Cayenne S and I must say there has not been any minor issue with the fit and finish.

Thumbs up Update

I just got the car back from the installer, all I have to say is Joe has done it again!
The exhaust sounds great, no drone, no resonance. Just a nice aggressive growl. I couldn't decide on which version to get so I talked it over with Chris (TT Surgeon) and Joe Fabiani. Based on their recommendation I went with the version 3 (of the Gen 3), also known as the moderate sound exhaust instead of the version 2 (tip/cab aka quiet). A special thanks to Jay Rothfeld at Fabspeed for answering all my questions and going above and beyond in customer service. Thanks guys!
Of course the installation looks very nice, as Fabspeed stuff usually does. Autodynamica in Houston did the install, the owner Luis Galan, is a stand up guy and really does professional work. If anybody in Houston needs an upgrade, he is the man.
I'll try and post a video, but to be honest, no sound clip will do it justice. Probably no better than what's already on the Fabspeed website.
I can strongly endorse Fabspeed exhaust on the 997TT, version 2 or 3 you can't go wrong.
No affiliation, just a long time satisfied customer.
