9ff TRC-91

Sorry for the bad pictures.

There was a rally, passing through Belgium and this car was over there. (Spanish owner that owns another 9ff supercar. This one claims 910 hp).

The owner in question passed the night in jail because he was caught speeding at 400 km/h in Germany !! (new road near Frankfurt ...)

I wasn't there so I can't confirm anything. (and 400km/h sounds like A LOT)

(Nice to know, the owner participated in the same rally last year with his other 9ff Porsche. During the night, in Belgium, he had some issues (don't ask me what ... ) and 9ff drove to Belgium to help him out ... Unless I'm mistaking, Rami was there and has pictures of it.

I just tought some of you guys were interested in the crappy pictures

Great find but I dont think the cab version has 910 h.p. I think it's more like 780..The hardtop has 910 h.p. I believe! These 9FF cars are most likely the strongest Porsches available to date...

Wow. They build some serious engines. 4.0 liter displacement, 910 horse power. Very impressive.

You appear to be correct:

Taking Nardo by storm

A Porsche convertible always is a good choice: elegant, suitable for everyday use and at the same time sufficiently sporty.
But the 9ff convertible offers more than just that: it speeds up to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds; 5 seconds later (less than 9s), it hits the 200 km/h mark and 11 seconds later, you scorch the tarmac with a speed of more than 300 km/h. At such a speed, caps or toupees don’t stand a chance.
Thanks to its incredible power output of more than 780HP and 830Nm of torque, the discreet super sports car was allowed to compete, beside 15 other potent bolides, for the title of the fastest tuned car. This event, held by Continental and AUTO BILD SPORTS-CARS, took place on the high-speed track in the Italian city of Nardo. The HP-miracle by 9ff took part as the very last contestant and promptly set a world record.
The 9ff boss Jan Fatthauer has done without technology, tools and stress and instead practised something completely new: Motor Racing Zen. With Buddhist calmness, Fatthauer got into his hardtop convertible, accelerated, drove three rounds, parked his car at the edge of the track and went past his thunder-struck contestants to get a coffee.
The new strategy worked out perfectly well: incredible 380.5 km/h – the new convertible world record!
Guru Fatthauer stays cool and says: “We wanted to do justice to our reputation as tuners who resist physics; an aim we have accomplished. But, that was clear from the start.

I really like the creative font they've used for "TRC-91" on the back.

Now I'm doubting that he was caught running 400k on public roads, but if the 780hp version does 380, I would believe the 910 version (if there is one) could go 400 (is this what the 91 in TRC-91 stands for?).

I checked out their company site. They list the 910 package for the coupe. Fairly built out engine (much more then just a ECU, and some new piping).

Also looks like they provide new drive train as well as custom gearing and a functional aero kit.

Here is a link to one reving http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OnXpp_VVtw.
