AMV8 getting a larger motor?

Supposedly it will be unveiled in Geneva. I am interested in this, as the main thing the AMV8 lacks is power.

this issue is under debate, take a look at the amoc forum, most of us have heard from our local dealers that there will be a slight increase in power.

Most people are fooled by 380 hp of the Vantage but keep in mind at 1500 rpm you have 83% of the cars torque and you are pushing 3500 lbs so even though you dont feel the inertia as you would a light car once to 40 mph the pull never gives up thanks to the torque curve up to 175 mph. If we wanted the fastest 0-60 we would be a lot lighter what I have experinced is that we have one of the top five in all catergories, acceleration, handling, looks, sound, interior. For the best overall car not just good in one catergory.

It is an issue of some debate. Some say yes, some say no. The 4.7 liter is definitely coming, (there are mules testing that are registered with this displacement).
Its just a matter of when. Latest we will see it by MY10.

We will know in one week at the Geneva Show.
