audi driver here so first post on this group

saw the dbs launch a few days ago and thought awesome car

as the dbs is out of my price range got me thinking about the vantage and where its at in it life cycle. love the look of it.

not saying i would choose it over an R8 but curious none the less.

i can see why you guys love astons ... styling definitely stands out from the crowd ... not super modern but something timeless about them.

I dont think it will ever get facelifted the most changes are done to the interior, if it was going to have a change it would probably be around 400-420hp to the engine rather than the current 380hp.

 

for 09 there're few big update but nothing much on the exterior except a sport package is offered. basically it's what u see on the N400. 09 will also receive a hp gain as well.

 

I think this car does not need a facelift. It keep on being "fresh".
But any change in order to be even more beautiful will be welcome

 

Yes, next year it will have a transparent hood section just like the new Vette

 

DBS interior is coming, along with 420bhp.
4.7 liter engine will be offered, up from the 4.3
Minor tweaks throughout. NO exterior changes planned.

Expect announcement May/June 08 with first deliveries in the fall.

i've been on the borderline for so long as well.

 

Arling I had a N400 on order but backed out when I recieved solid information about a larger displacement coming. Obviously the interior facelift is coming as well.

Won't have the car this summer but it is worth the wait until fall. Hate to have something newer come out 6~months after buying.
