Good deal?

You will always hear that the price should be cheaper when you ask an open ended question like this ... do you like the car ? If so buy it ... you are getting a "used" car that really has not been used. Try another $5k off - again do you like the car (color etc) cause if you want that car new w/ all the specs you like about that car (2008) it will certainly be more than $105k. When buying used you can not always get what you want ... so if you found the dream get it. I am sure someone will say $95k - try but I bet the seller will not go that low ... and they will sell it after you. Again ask yourself is that the one you want ... or would you prefer a different color or some spec you like that this one may not have .... it is your beast ... IMHO. This is not a used Toyota ... If I liked the car I would pay that price - certainly less that what I paid for mine ... and about 290 miles difference ...

and if you are ready to buy this car - start at $93 as your first offer. I think you can get it for $100 easy ... possibly less but my bet here is $100 ... Blk/Blk tends to sell well.

It is built as I would have it done it except for the silver calipers, and I would have added the bright finish grille. Don't know what tires it has. I think I'll take a ride down there to see it in person.

You can probably get a new 07 for $20k off list and an 08 for 15 so it is not a great deal. While this car has only a few hundred miles, you should see when the in service date is. They only have 36 month warranties.

You can see another thread and there was a call out as to who really was offereing 15-20k off 2008 prices. Check it out. No one has responded. Looks like 10k is more real off 2008 list.

I know that 07's are being discounted at least 20 because I just bought one. You may be right about the 08's- I was just extrapolating and taken into account that there are quite few cars out there.

Check into the warranty coverage.
Coverage start from the day the vehicle is purchased new. Irrespective of the low mileage, it is used and has been sitting around for better part of 07, and that still constitutes elapsed time.

I found 2007. New, no miles. Dealer say's warranty is good for 3 years because the car has never been sold. Only difference between 07/08 is cup holder and newer Bluetooth.

Again ... do you like the car ? They are not going to "give it away" and I would be pissed if they did. It is less than I paid for my 2007 .... if you are looking for the lowest price to pay for a V8V then it would be a high mile used one ! If you really like that car then try to get it as low as possible ... then get it and most of all enjoy !!! They are a blast ... and no new exotic is going to hold value in todays market ... sorry MHO

Thanks Michael.
What do you know about the 2009 Vantage and increased horsepower? I've read some threads about the 2009's having new interiors also.
I guess my only hesitation is I'd be buying a car that will soon be 2 years old in model year, albeit new, with no miles and full warranty.

OK - now which way do you want to go - $105K or more like $130+ ? I know you have been shopping for best price - 2009 will have some more HP and slightly different interior - but more money too - the Euro vs Dollar will make a difference !
HZ and others are coming up w/ some cool mods that will get you a nice very unique ride at below what a 2009 will cost. What do you really want to spend ?
Tampa AM has a nice selection of 2008 on their lot - they will be less expensive than 2009. Talk w/ Tom ... then again ask yourself what do you want. My example - had a great modded 996TT and the 997 TT was just not it - trust me my car would kill 997 on the track - unless I wanted to spend just as much modding the 997. The AM was a very nice change - not nearly as fast but what a nice change. So what do you want to spend and what are you going to do w/ the car ? Is saving about $40k for 40 less HP and a slightly different interior your thing ? I am getting a bit older and finding I like my 2007 vs 2008 and not real thrilled w/ DBS style interior - cup holders - who cares, iPOD BFD, Blue tooth again BFD - just my thoughts ... again sit down w/ a cold beverage and think about your priorities vs money ... hope this helps I'm off for a great evening w/ my 2007 AM - and a very happy camper ... with a few mods in the very near future vs a 2009, which will be a nice car too ... now where can I find a DB6 for $30K ???

I think you meant 2007 vs. soon to be released 2009. I do agree with what you say though
