I had a rattle that was perplexing and turned out to be the defroster housing as someone else mentioned. Seems to be common and can return. Its not a big deal and sometimes seems like it is coming from various places. Once tightened up, it goes away.

rattle behind me on left

hi,
I have a similar rattle on the left, i tightened the speaker but think it is coming from behind the side panel, anybody have a similar issue.

I had leather on leather rubbing and an air vent rattle. The air vent was easy but expansion and contraction are hard to fix. Some of it gets chalked up to "hand-made".

Leather on Leather rubbing is an easy fix....Baby or Talc powder!
