great ideas, although I dont like touch screens... I like real hardware buttons or a nice central controller rather than smudges on the screen. The new BMW IDrive kicks ***, Aston should come out with something similar.

They dont have to be loaded but a little more standard features would be nice since they are marketed more as GT cars rather than hardcore racers...

Yeah. Cars like Ferraris are hardcore track cars, and thus can be forgiven for not having those features. AMs however, are GTs, and definitely ought to have them, at least to some extent.

The iDrive won't be too bad Its always nice to be able to adjust almost any electrical setting from the system.

I just confirmed from AM that the 08+ models can read mp3 cds in the 6-disc cd changer. The 06 and 07 models cannot.

Nice! At least they are improving.
With luck, keyless-go or an iDrive will be next!

this is bringing up an old topic, but I think this looks a little more practical as compared to my original edited picture. Smaller ash tray and a rotary **** to control the sat-nav and computer like in the iDrive.

pardon the off-quality PSing on the ****. I'm not that great at using photoshop

Make that in a manual and I'm sold, Astonfan. In all honesty dual climate control is ok but I don't miss it much, the cabin is so small anyways that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between passenger and driver...

I only drive mine in fairly nice weather anyways, and I'd rather have windows down.

I also much prefer a manual, but I chose the auto/SS model to base off on, as the gearknob blocks the view slightly
