I also forgot to mention in my earlier post that you can simply get in an drive the AM without the need for warm-up or cool down whereas this is not really the case with the 996TT. I got really tired of waiting for 30-60 seconds to let the turbos cool down on the 996TT. I know it sounds silly but when you are late for a meeting and you sit in the parking lot waiting for the temps to come down that 30 seconds is killer! I also hated the smoke on start-up of the 996TT. It looked like sh-t when you start the car around a big group of awe inspired pre-pubecent teens and they get a Batman inspired smoke screen! Pretty embarassing.
