I'm looking to buy a DB9. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on the year, the prices are all over the place.

I've seen the interior differences. From the evolution of the seats to the changes in the button scheme on the center console.

Questions for the experienced AM guys amongst you:

Aside from the Sport Pack (springs and wheels), are there any substantial mechanical differences thru the years from '05 to '09?

Can you retrofit an older car with the Sport Pack springs and wheels?

I put your questions to one of the AM salesmen I know and will post his answers,

 

Mechanical difference no. There is a power change at '09, but up to that no difference. You can upgrade to a sport pack, they have kits depending on the year and gearbox. There are some electric differences, more like software enhancements on newer years.
