DBS prices - How far under MSRP?

I've been tracking cars at Galpin, Beverly Hills, Newport Beach and Palm Springs since I'm in Orange County. When I first started shopping 6 months ago the party line was "they're all sold... order now and we can get you one in 6-12 months."

Since that time I've watched the cars pile up at the various dealers. Newport has had the same 2 silver/black ones for at least 4 or 5 months. Galpin has gone for 2 cars to 5 cars. And Beverly Hills has a couple on the lot and they told me they are holding a couple at port that they don't have room for. Palm Springs has been sitting on the silver/tan one since I was there in September.

Galpin quoted me $15K off on last year's cars. They have 2 that don't have the B&W system or 2+2 seating. They still want full MSRP on the new ones.

I'm wondering if anyone on the board has purchased one and what you paid.

I know if the rate of sales continues over the next 6 months some dealers are bound to discount like they did on '08 vantages and DB9s. I just wish I could get some dealer to start discounting now.

There are BIG discounts on cars with a couple 1000 miles on them. Without the manufacturer putting money behind it, there's only so much the dealer can do.

I was wondering the same thing. I had a brief discussion at my dealership a week ago while I was waiting for my car about a beautiful black on black DBS with red stitching. I was trying to get a round trade value on my car when the salesman suggested that the trade value on my 08 Vantage wasn't as bad as I thought but he could give me a great deal on the DBS. I didn't pursue it further. My wife was giving me the " Your not Buying another Car Look "; she loves the Vantage. I am however going back with a friend in April to get his car and I will bring it up again.

Just found this. DBS in LA with 250 miles for $221K. I'm thinking this car must have a story.

At $221k, buy the car. That's 45k off MSRP. That is as flat as you will see the price in the next 6 months. the Casino Royal color is the highest production color from early models, but still a great buy at that price. The car is very rare so don't sweat 10-15k if you like the color. Buy one.

I have owned one now for 2 months and it is one of a kind for sure.
One of the few keepers in my collection.

Would consider selling my casino royale DBS...too many cars right now. It has around 2800 miles and I am fairly negotiable. The car is in Los Angeles.

It has been a year since this thread was up here.. I am wondering.. how is the market acting today.. I pulled the trigger on a DBS recently..

I asked for offers for 2010 DBS Coupe from Switzerland, Germany, and Austria from Authorized Dealers, and I got all offers in the €290,000 range as list price, including all taxes of course.. With negotiations they went down to €245,000.. and that's the best deal I found from the three places I contacted.. I am aware that the prices in UK are different, and much lower..

What's your take on the DBS prices??

I got a great price on a new 2010 DBS. Worth waiting for a leftover model for the price.
