997turbo to DBS

Might have an opportunity at pulling the trigger on a DBS,still enjoying the turbo.Basically is it a no brainer as far as another class of vehicle?,as want a more exclusive and refined drive.Cant keep both. Thanks

if you're looking for a more exclusive car, a DBS is pretty high up there. it's not a Zonda, but it's still the top dog in a historic company's lineup. no offense to Porsche owners, but more people can't tell 911's apart. and not many more can even tell a Cayman from a 911. Porsche's are great cars, but if you want to stand out above the Turbo you have now, the DBS is a great car to use for that purpose.

I'll take that one better as many don't even know what an A-M is. Porsche is iconic and also very common, so most know what they are.

i'm thinking about the same changes but i'm a bit scared because when i passed by the AM dealer, they had 4 DBS returned in different colors milage range between 1187miles as the highest and the lowest has 375miles only!! and oh they are expecting another 2 to come in, one of them has 180miles and one is around 140miles!! why are the owners returning them!!! and they are losing at some point who pulled the strigger when the car first came out of around 40%

lol, i keep on asking myself, why are they returning these beauties but i cant find an answer.

As for buying the DBS, i'm alittle confused and lost i would say between an LP640 or the DBS. LP 640 will be slightly more expensive.

As for now, i have an 05 Gallardo and an 07 997TT, i will be selling both to get either the DBS or the Lp640.

the LP 640 is also a cool car but you cant drive it every day unlike the DBS

and IMHO the DBS has more style

If it gives you any perspective I went from a modded 996TT (much faster than a stock 997TT) to a Vantage. Yes there is a speed difference but I am quite happy ...
I get stopped all the time w/ "what kind of car is that?" ... "very nice"

Astons somehow takes the worse hit in depreciation... its no brainer its a different league to a TT. If you are shopping around why not look into a 599 GTB? its a Ferrari and most of the depreciation is gone. The DBS still needs to come down a little more imho its is too similar to the DB9.
