Big range in Vantage Extended Warranty prices...

I'm on the market for a used Vantage and have been doing research on the AM 2 yr extended warranty.

I have found that dealers are quoting different prices. Here in Dallas, I was told about $5,700. I've called a dealer in FL and they said $6,400. I've seen some posts here that mentioned $4,400.

Does anybody have advice / recommendation on which dealer is the most competitive?

I do realize that there is a pre-inspection that must be completed first. About $500 I think. Could I get that done locally, then opt to purchase from a different dealer to try to save a $1,000?

That would go towards an exhaust system of course ;')

Thanks for any / all help.

Thanks alevine for the list.

I've searched the forum, but I haven't come up with any real leads on any good "aftermarket-Aston-Friendly" alternatives.

I want to purchase an 07, but most only have a few months warranty left...And I like to have some piece of mind...just not sure about $6k worth.

With an 07 purchased in 07 you will get at least 6 months warranty. Aston Martin of Seattle, Wa quoted me $4400 for an extra 24 months. They were also the cheapest when it came to the Power Upgrade. Las Vegas quoted me $2000 more than they did.

Does anybody here actually have experience with an extended warranty plan for the AMV8 and cares to share his/her experience?

Thanks!

I don't have any experience with it, but I briefly looked into it. I echo Alevine's comment that the warranty excludes a lot. Not worth it IMO.

paid 5000 dollars (Including the inspection fee) for 24 months extra but next time I will either look into alternatives or just leave it as is
