DBS Dealer Inventory

So, when DBS' were announced, they were sold out indefinitely. The local dealer had one on the floor available at a substantial premium within 6 months. I stopped by a couple of weeks ago considering bargain hunting. They have FIVE DBS's in stock. One's used with <1K miles on it, that they'll "do a great deal on." Four others are brand new in stock.

The great deal? $250K takes it. Pshaw. In this market? Get real AM.

Maybe it's just that dealer because common sense tells you these things will never go up/be worth that again.

the prices are going to drop quickly. i was just in an aston martin dealership in the UK and a brand new one was priced at £135,000 (or $222,000 USD).

As gorgeous as the DBS is, I never expected it to really hold its value all that well. The Vanquish dropped like a rock and I really wouldn't be surprised to see the DBS perform about the same way in the next few years.

Also, I'm not positive about this but isn't the DBS actually being produced in greater numbers than the Vanquish was?
