Does the 2009 Vantage have a decent GPS?

Another question that my wife had regarding our intent to purchase a 2009 Vantage is the quality of the GPS. She has a GPS in her 2005 S-type Jag that is passable and we have a Garmin 260W for my car and trips. We didn't play with the Vantage GPS during our test drive and we saw a GPS in a 2008 Maserati that was clearly NOT up-to-date technology so we're not taking anything for granted.

Can anyone comment on the 2009 Vantage GPS?

Thanks.

I think it is decent. It is much better than Porsche IMO. I also have the Garmin 255W and think it is about as good. I actually have no complaints about it but to be fair I use it very little.

It's not great...graphics are definitely older and the screen isn't in a good spot. Overall it's not as good as the one in my '08 X5...or even as good as in my last X5 which was an '05. And the controls aren't very good. BUT, I rarely use it and really don't see this as a car that needs a nav. In fact, I wish mine didnt have it.

Thanks, folks. I suspect we'll likely find that most cars will have it whether we want it or not. And if we're taking a trip and find a need, we can always take the Garmin along.
