Warning triangle symbol

Hi,

more a question with my aston...

Somtime, the "warning triangle" symbol in red color turns on for no apparent reason for a few seconds, then turns off.
Do you know what that means, it's dangerous for the motor?

Thanks for your help!!

Vincent

45otto is on a distinguished road
What are you doing when it comes on? It is normal if the traction control is kicking in, does it come on during hard exceleration?

No, just driving alone around 3,000 rpm, very quiet

acabrera will become famous soon enough
There is usually a message displayed along with it. I recently had my '06 Vantage briefly flashing the warning triangle at random times but could not read the message in time since I was driving. Finally, I saw that it was a brief message that read: "Check coolant level". As it turns out, I was slightly, slightly, slightly low so I spoke to my dealership and topped it off with some water (distilled, of course) and the message no longer displays.
