It Looks Like iPod Integration is Finally Here-OEM Aston Martin Kit!!!
There are other options besides going with the factory upgrade. Give the guys at Walnut creek customs a call. They installed a direct aux input into the factory stereo and navigation screen and used a nav-tv component to controll the whole thing. I posted some pictures on a previous thread.

Bad news, it doesn't run through the head unit... Nothing runs through that head unit but the OEM flavor. It isnt an rf modulator, but no control from the head unit. I think I'm still gonna go with it though. Plan on using a nano and run the wire through the coin holder... The ipod will fit in that slot flush, then just pull it out when I want to change playlists... They'll have to cut out the bottom to make it work, no biggie.
$700 vs. $3k... I'm going with the aftermarket. I rarely touch it once I choose a playlist anyway.
Getting the 9500ci, and a parrot bluetooth also.

Hello All,
I wish there was a way I could get my Ipod solution into the US in some way. Need to get a quality Hi-Fi Installer to do the work, then I can support the kit from here and offer tech support. Any Ideas greatfully received.
Another invention on the table at the moment....
Front parking camera. Let me know your thoughts.
Best Regards, Paralight

iPod kit from AM
My kit arrived and the dealer will install it next week in my 2007 V8V. Quoted $1900 installed. The part kit was $1250, then they have to download a config file to install in the car to let the radio head know it has an ipod kit. Thats another $75. Then 3 hours labour. Good news is the thing can be read and controlled from the screen, and its not a modulator set up, real cd quality sound.
Aston Martin V8V's iPod kit - got it installed
My car came back last week with the kit installed. There's no change you can see, its all behind the scenes. now when you press menu its shows on the screen the radio, a USB or ipod, you select that, then you can dial up everything thats on the ipod just by spinning the right **** and pressing it to select, same as the wheel on an ipod. It sounds fantastic, CD quality sounds and the car's stereo can really crank with the top down and can still listen to music very comfortably while open motoring.
I know it's the DB9, but this video has a small segment on the iPod integration (I presume it is the same system for the entire range). Anyway, hope it's helpful to some of you.

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I never listen to music while driving the Aston.......through the speakers anyhow.
I roll the window down and get above 4k RPM's as often as possible! There is not a better song to my ears
