Unhappy Bulb Failure Left Turn Indicator and right front LED is out

Last week the “Bulb failure Left turn indicator” warning came on the dash of my out of warranty Vantage and then a day later I noticed that the LED strip on my right front headlight was not coming on. I am not sure if both problems occurred on the same day or not. Has anyone here seen this before?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

the led issue might be because of the turn signal and not that the led is broken. I am not sure if its the case with our astons, but when you use a turn signal on audi for example the leds turn off, to better facilitate other drivers seeing your turn signal.

Had my Vantage for almost 3 years, never had or heard of this issue ... interested in hearing your results.

best wishes, because the whole rear light unit is a 1 piece, or ordered as a 1 piece. $$$, not as simple as just replacing a bulb since its all LED

if it is the rear light assembly - buy the clear white ones instead

Thanks for your input and kind words!! Upon closer inspection I see some condensation in the rear light housing so I think it was the moisture that caused the failure of my rear taillight. In addition, when I turn on the headlights the front right led strip comes on for two seconds so I know that it’s not dead.

I am crossing my fingers that purchasing a new rear taillight will solve both problems. It was not a planned mod but I purchased the DBS style rear brake lights and 3rd brake light from RSCTuning today and they shipped overnight it to my office. A Big Shout Out to Hershel @ RSC for fantastic client service!!!!!!! I will update my post with install pics and let you know if my problems are over.

Yup! I installed the left and right rear and the front right led popped right back on. I will snap some pics when I install the 3rd brake light.

glad to hear that it worked, I'm tempted to get the clear lights too. Not too sure yet how it'd look on black.

Did you do it yourself or take it to a shop?

I did the install myself and it was a piece of cake….45 mins tops out and in.

(1) Open trunk
(2) Remove bolt caps from both sides with hand
(3) Remove 3 nuts and washers from either side
(4) Slide light assembly out
(5) Carefully pry painted trim from the center of lights (held on with 2way tape)
(6) Insert clear light housings
(7) Apply painted trim to new light assemblies (2 way tape provided)
(8) Replace bolts/ caps and you are done

The 3rd brake light looks like a job that needs some time and patience because it involves removing the trunk liner.

A forum member has/had them installed on a dark vantage. Thread here..........

Yes, looks like we posted our pics at the same time. I like the way you think, HalfAmazing. Do you have a black interior also?
