Track Day
I haven't taken my car to the track (yet) but from what I understand the car generally does much better than most people would expect based on the lackluster street performance (particularly with the 4.3L).
For example, Sport Auto got an impressive Nurburgring time of 8:03 for a stock V8 Vantage in 2006...that equaled the Porsche GT3 (996), Audi R8, and NSX-R, and the E92 M3 later posted an 8:04...one second behind. Seems a little hard to believe, but that's what they got.
The 8:03 time actually beats the E46 M3 by 19 seconds. In street driving, I would say that my M3 is definitely faster than my Vantage was when it was stock. Driving them back to back the difference was noticeable...but I imagine that at higher speeds the V8 pulls better and that's where the difference is. Taking out the dead spots below 4000 rpm and keeping the car moving makes up for a lot.

Take it to the track! It is an absolute blast and what the car was made to do!! Look for a local AM or P-car club renting out the track for a day and join them. I was shocked at how well the car held its own with stock tires and brakes. Found myself gaining on a 430 lap over lap (OK, only due to his terrible line), but it made me feel great!!
I believe the handling upgrade and power upgrade I have done would further better that time and bring it into the 7 minute Nurburgring. R compund tires would be better yet.......
