New to the family, a little introduction and pictures.
just wanted to make an introduction, i recently picked up my 2006 aston martin as i felt it was time for a change as mustangs have been my stable for well over a decade now. the green car below will probably stay for sometime to come.
my name is james and i currently work in afghanistan so for now the car is parked in my garage, my brother will be in charge of starting it up weekly and taking her out for a spirited run every now and then. as you will see below i have a hard time leaving cars alone and my initial thought was not to mess with the vantage and drive it as is but after reading the supercharger thread i thought to myself that a quality turbo install and a stand alone system would solve many problems and could be cost efficient. anyway, this seems like a good group of people here and i hope to learn and pitch in when i can.
and the beast below that is locked in the garage!
and finally the car i gave up to get into the amv8
compound boost, supercharged and twin turbo making 724 hp / 780 tq at the wheels......... i miss her...........
lastly the girls finally came out after a long wait in 5.0 magazine

Welcome, I also started with Mustangs. Considering a new GT to beat up at the track as they are unbelievable stock!

Rep Power: 18 ford got it right with that new 4 valve 5.0, there a couple of companies that have put together bolt on cars that are running mid to low 10's and i believe one other that has put a 150 shot on there and has been in the mid 9's. the only problem i have with this set up is that the compression is so high, if memory serves it is 11:1 and built to run on 87 octane.

appreciate the welcome guys and glad to see there are some other ford fans here, i was afraid i would be one of the few.
