Parts are pricey, but honestly not TOO expensive. I've gotten new hoses, expansion tank sensors, filters, etc. So far they've all been reasonable compared to other European makes.

36k miles, drives better than ever. Yes, have it taken care of by your friend's mechanic, he'll tell you it's the easiest break/fluid change/filter change, ever.

So judging by some other posts, it looks like I'd be better with a manual right? I used to love it in my old s2000 and kind of miss it but don't know how solid the AM gearbox is.
that black/black in orlando has an accident on the free carfax report on autotrader

When you mention the 06 seats are different, what exactly do you mean? Are they more comfortable or is it just a visual thing like stitching?

Stitching and design is a little different. I've never been in the 06 seats, so can't comment on the comfort, but check out the pics. 07 and on look a lot better with the thick, high contrast stitching. I think this might have been an option in 06, but its very rare.

you can check ebay to compare the 06 and 07 seats. There is a big different in design

Here are some images of the seats.
The 07 is a more comfortable seat with more lumbar support.

thoughtntheory -

When looking for a Vantage, I would also suggest you start searching from model year 2007.
