Paint protection

I'm the new owner of an '08 V8V and was wondering what others use for paint protection with the Aston's excellent paint job. I was looking at the Ultima range of products or possibly Zaino. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
Darren

First I need to know what color your car is because I have different suggestions for light and dark colors. Second, if it's a dark color, what condition is the clear coat in? In other words, are there swirl marks in full sunlight?

The car is Jet Black and there are no swirl marks in the paint.

Ok, if your looking for a really bright shine with very little maintenance then get a bottle of Zaino Z-5 and a bottle of Z-6 spray. Apply the Z-5 VERY VERY sparingly. If you have one, use an orbital buffer like a Porter cable 7424 to apply this product. The entire car should take about 20 minutes. Then wipe off with a microfiber towel. Use the Z-6 also very sparingly to get rid of any water spotting after washing or excess Z-5 residues. Don't waste your money with other Zaino products like "All in one" or Z-8. Z-5 and Z-6 are ALL you need. If you're looking for a deep glow instead of a bright shine then buy a bottle of Clearkote RMG and top that with Natty's Blue carnauba wax. One thing to be aware of: Zaino has optical enhancers that will not only make your car shine but also enhance any imperfections you might have so don't use Zaino on black unless you're confident that your car has little or no swirls. Otherwise, go the RMG route which will help hide them. After 20 yrs of detailing and fifty personal cars later, these are my go to products.
