Same here. Pulled over for speeding he checked the car out and chatted for a bit then ticketed me for front plate and window tint.

I got pulled over for no seatbelt and was ticketed for that. Cop ignored the missing plate; said the car was really nice...

I agree the vantage look a lot better driving without the seatbelt!

Fairly sure that Santa has one of the mower deck plate mounts for me under the tree .

I never ran a front plate in IL and neither in CA, over 18,000 miles/yr. Probably mentioned twice in all the times pulled over. Offered to show it to the officer (I keep it in trunk) and they let it go.

I'll never have one mounted if I can help it. I even signed a waiver for my old SRT-8 to NOT drill holes in the front bumper for the mount.

There's a DB9 name I've seen with one of those remote plate mechanisms and I know the guy who makes them. I'd probably try one myself but there's no way I would have clearance under the front spoiler. I asked my friend if it gets you out of a ticket and he said he actually didn't know how effective they were in that matter.

Santa came through with my bracket from Larry at Mower axle .
Expertly machined parts . I clear coated them and installed it .
