Still not certain as to whether or not Aston will continue production beyond the first 1,000. I understand that they about at that point now.

Not gonna happen unless they rebadge someone else's SUV:

Bob: "Why does your Range Rover have an Aston Martin badge on it?"

Larry: "Oh this is my Aston Martin Vantwagon."

Bob: "Isn't it just a Range Rover with an Aston Martin badge?"

Larry: "...yes."

Bob: "Bet it was pricey, though."

Larry: "...yes."

Bob: "Did they at least use the supercharged engine?"

Larry: "...no."
Hehe...know what you mean, but a lot of manufactures are doing this, when it's now there background it's a cheaper cost..look at the VW AG, the SUV from VW, Porcshe..and now the new Bentley SUV

Yes. The Maser is very nice, and has a truly useable back seat. It's much bigger and heavier than the Aston, and while very good to drive, it feels much bigger and heavier. True to its name, the Maser is a great GT, but not nearly as much of a sports car as the V8V. Also, IMO, the Aston's build quality, materials quality and attention to detail are considerably better than the Maser's -- there is far more plastic in the Maser than in the Aston. If this sounds like I didn't like the Maser, that's not the case at all -- it's just that I prefer the Aston.
