I had an M3 with alcantara on the steering wheel and really liked it. My wife just took out a chunk of leather on the vantage with her ring...perfect excuse to get it wrapped!

I have the white stitching, anyone opinions on whether or not I should get the stitching on the wheel white? I'm afraid it will stand out too much.

I think it would look good, but wouldn't it get dingy over time?I'm curious about where you're getting the wheel wrapping done, and how much it costs.

 

MAcarbon they use suede, $850. Good point about the possibility of it getting dingy, but I don't think my hands will touch where the stitching is.

 

If you liked the Alcantara on your M3, why would you use suede?

Really, I heard suede is not good at all, especially if you have sweaty hands? I thought most OEM's use alcantara for exactly that reason.

For the record, I think the white sticking would look hot! I vote yes! Plus, if it does get dirty you can probably clean it using a clean rag and some warm water.

I wouldn't think so. Sweat stains suede pretty badly. I thought the synthetic stuff was much preferred?
