I'm going with a more extensive package, just about everything besides the roof and rear deck. I went with Detailing Dynamics hear on the east cost. They are a board sponsor and have great rates for us. I think my final number is about 3K.

I was quoted $900 for front mask/mirrors/fenders. Talked down to $450, which is the portion I will use during my 2 year lease.

After driving this weekend on some rural roads littered with pebbles, I'm thinking that a full body wrap makes sense. Wondering if anyone has done this and what their impressions are after having lived with it a while . . .

do you guys find your rear slipping out a little bit when accelerating a little hard? i had the car for over 3 weeks and didnt experience that, but i just picked it up from the dealer the other day after having to take the 2 rear tires off to fix a wiring issue with the rear sensor. I thought maybe they disengaged the DSC, but no such luck. Its not completely sliding out, but i can def feel the rear falling out of line a little.

Let me know if either of you have felt that before. THx!

I was out the other day and I was pushing it without getting the tires warm and I did notice it. It feels like the rear is trying to jump in front. Big engine, boat loads of torque and a short wheel base. The tires will help the warmer they get. It feels really old school muscle car.

I too have had this happen, especially when the tires are cold. Maybe the car had been sitting a while when you picked it up? Or maybe you're getting more comfortable with the car and feel more confident about pushing it a bit harder. That's a good thing if so.

thank you both for your quick replies. cold tires would def make sense. this is my first real sports car, so these things don't come to mind unfortunately. definitely getting more used to the car and driving it a little harder. really want to take it to a track though so i can both open it up and also disengage DSC. hopefully soon.

Fuse 15

What year is your car? I have a 2011 V12 V and Fuse 15 on mine is for the starter motor solenoid. If I pull it, the car won't start. Any idea which fuse controls the exhaust valves on the 2011?

Thanks.

On my 2011 it is fuse 15. Sure you have the correct fuse box? We're talking about the one in the trunk.

Ahh - thanks. My manual was confusing - the only "fuse 15" it lists is under the hood. Sure enough, found fuse 15 in the trunk fuse box and pulled...

Sounds delightful!

Now remove the rear parcel shelf as well and try it again... beats any sports exhaust!

The only thing is the weight. The sports exhaust reduce unsprung weight by 30lbs which is significant.

In addition, replace the exhaust manifolds and the cats and you've reduced weight even more, and added a total of 30-40 bhp. I am considering doing this next year once BR has their system ready. Those are probably the only mods I'd consider, except perhaps for adding the pop-up machine guns.
