Nice job Vince !
You car is fantastic !!!
Did you weight the dampers (OEM vs Nitron) ?
Did you reduce the ground clearance of your car ?
If yes, how many mm ?

Merci Bruno,
Nitro are lighter, but I do not know how.
For the height of the car, we did several tests with different driving on twisty and bumpy roads. Basically, compared to OEM, it was -25 mm front and - 40 mm rear.
Oem, the car is inclined forward, it's not level.
For now, it's the best setting. Perhaps i need to correct later. I need to drive longer to testing.

I have a V8VS and installed the H&R springs - they do not match up well.. I recently purcahsed the Nitron kit and plan to track mine as well

Vince,

Your Vantage looks great! Love the upgrades!

Do you know what spring rates you went with on your Nitron Kit? I went with their track recommendation. 575lbs front and 625rr - I believe their street recommendation is 375lbs ft and 425lbs rr - I also went with the pin mount adjusters and plan to use their extenders to make the adjustment more accessible.

Did you do a track based alignment? Any advise you can provide me would be helpful.

Have fun with you mods!

Just checked out the thread you got that thing looking great man! Gonna take her out on the track for old time sake? Coilovers should make a big difference once you get them dialed in. Car should be a hoot on track!

Sunir,

You know me to well. Heck yeah it's going on the track! Barber Motorsports park is 20 minutes from my house. I plan to do a session or two for fun to try it out. I don't want to abuse the Aston but use it as it should be My race car is my dedicated track toy and I am trying to get it sorted out to race again. You should come down for the BMW DE this year. I plan to have my race car and the Aston present.

But let's not hijack Vince's thread - talk to ya soon

We had some epic endure and sprint races together back in the day buddy. We oughtta get Damion and the race cars together sometime for a track weekend for old times sakes man! One things for sure Aston or whatever you have out there at Barber you'll be moving at a fast clip for sure!

Update kit with the Gruppe M

There is a lot of work on the admission, both on speed, the freshness of the air.

I made some personal changes to the kit.

Another recurring problem of Vantage, it's a bad air filling around 4,000 t / mins, what goes down the power curve. It was therefore an additional volume just before the plenum (Butterfly) which will enable to ensure an adequate volume of air, a kind of "buffer" of air. The curve should be smoother -> check so.

For experienced, I would keep me talking about power gain, by cons, the acceleration sensation is not the same. It's different, more abrupt.

I make a dyno as soon as possible.
