air leaking sounds at 70 MPH or higher

Anybody have issues with sounds coming from the front windshield at around 70 MPH? The air sounds start at 70 and get louder as I increase speed.

I can't really pin if the sound is coming from the front glass or inside the dash. I will probably have to take it to the dealer soon, but I believe these kind of issues are hard to identify.

I also get some rattling in the rear passenger side. I wonder what efforts the dealer would make to fix these under warranty.

I get it, but it;s not the windshield for me, its the small triangle glass on the driver side. The seal there or something. I haven't gotten it fixed yet.

Have you checked the windshield wipers or the exterior trim? If the noise only occurs at high speed, it may be due to wind force.

+2

But I told them about it, and they said the rubber has been adjusted, but I still hear the wind coming in unfortunately, I really don't feel like going back just to fix this I'll wait till I have to take the car and include this issue again..

The sounds are coming from both the drivers side window and more from the front windshield or cabin area (can't tell exactly where the sounds are coming from).

anyhow, I dropped it off at the dealer today, I'll post back what the problem was.

Pat:

Did you go to FC Kerbeck or Ray Catena? Either way, let us know how much is cost to get the seal replaced.

My car is at miller motor cars in long island. Ray Catena does not currently sell the AM Brand. Yes they still do service but I prefer going to a dealer that is active with AM.

The repairs will be covered under warranty but I will let you know the costs and the causes of the sounds once I hear back from the service manager.

They fixed the loud wind sounds and surprisingly it was coming from the passenger side mirror. It took the techs several days and 80 miles of driving to finally fix this!

The loud sounds are gone, but the car still has light wind sounds at higher speeds. Its really hard to tell if the sounds are normal because its a bit louder than when I drive my mercedes.

Do you guys experience wind sounds at high speeds?
