slight rumble from 2-3K rpm :(

Hey guys. 27k on my vantage. Maintained. Original clutch seems to be good. Slight vibration and rumble in any gear from 2-3k rpm. Most noticeable in 4th due to sound/noise. Any help?

Ok. I'll take a hit at this one.

Are we sure its in the transmission?
I would take a look at the tires, check pressure, check if worn incorrectly.
If your in 4th gear at a certain speed, the tires could cause this if there cupped really bad, or worn.
It is hard to say with out hearing the noise, just going off what I have experienced in the past.

not the tires

I've notice that the slight rumble happens even if the car is not moving and I'm simply revving the car. Why would she rumble like this between 2k&3k rpm? Strange. But I'm concerned. Would the clutch, if it were going bad, cause this?

Not trying to be an alarmist, but 'rumble' is a term often used to describe the sound/feel of crank bearings going bad. You need to localize the source of the sound if you can.

crank bearings

Thanks. Is that an expensive repair? How do crank bearings go bad anyway?

If this is the case you are looking at a new engine. Aston Martin at this time does not rebuild engines, but this will be changing.
Is there any way to get a video clip of this rumble?
It is possible that you have a bad powertrain mount and it is causing you to fell the engine more.
It is hard to diagnosis this without really being there to see or fell your concern.
