I've been looking at a 2007 V8 Vantage convertible at Naples Motor Sports. 3,700 miles, no warranty, $89,900. How does this price sound? Thanks!

 

Jebus. I wouldn't pay that. I'd rather take an 09 with higher miles for that price. Just remember the engine is considered a little anemic with the 07 coupe and the convertible is significantly heavier.

 

Definitely high based on the prices you see on Manheim (which are dealer to dealer and usually a few $k shy of what the initial ask will be for a straight retail transaction).'08 Roadsters in good condition with that sort of mileage are quoted in the low to mid 80's.

I would push them hard on price and if they don't seem interested in dropping it 10-15k I would keep looking.

Like Curious said, shoot for $10k or so lower.

2007 Vantage 6 speed with AM engine upgrade to 400hp... yearly service was done May 2011 so I have the paperwork. It has 18500 miles. Car has absolutely nothing wrong with it since I got the extended service contract from AM that is included with the car so the dealer had to do the whole workup on the car. Brakes and tires had lots of life left according to dealer.

That price is high. There are 08s and 09s out there with similar mileage for less.
