How does one change the shift ****/boot on a Vantage? I have one from a V12/DBS that I want to put in to see how I like it. I'd rather do it myself if it's fairly easy so I don't have to pay AM to do it (twice) if I don't like it.

 

I figured it out how to do it. I had to dissemble the whole center console from back to front. I did a few google searches that led me to some posts here and on another site. Let me know if anyone wants instructions. Nothing like wrenching on the interior of a $100+K car.

 

I like how you ask a question....then anwser it a little while later....that is too funny. Good job though. Those center console can be a pain sometimes.

 

So how do you like the ****? Is the feel better than the stock one?

 

It's funny, actually, I haven't driven the car yet with the new ****. The weather here has been terrible. I might drive it today. It feels good when it's parked

 

I like the aluminum ****, but it's cold in the winter!
