New member, new (to me) DB9
Greetings,
About a week ago I finally acquired my dream car, a 2009 Aston Martin DB9 Volante. Bought it from a dealer in North Miami and drove it back to Houston the same weekend. Gently used when I acquired it on 12/16/2011 with 2,021 miles on it, it now happily has 3,400 miles

I spend a lot of time on a corvette forum and I know that newbies posting stories of purchase without pictures is discouraged, so some pictures are below.

Congratulations and a hell of a way to break it in! I guess you really got to know the car right away.

curious what kind of mpgs you got on such a long highway trip.

1,224 miles
19 hours of driving over 2 days
19.75 mpg avg. for the entire trip
64 mph avg. for the entire trip

Are those the 'official' interior colors? I don't see those particular names listed in the current selection of leather and carpet colors on the AM site (of course they do change somewhat over time).

Oh gosh no, not at all. Where on the AM site can I find the color chart? Once I find it, I'll report the correct color names.

That really is of no help because color changes are subtle sometimes. You need to call a local AM dealer with the VIN and get the official build list that will specify the extreior/interior colors and options for your car.
