Fluid swap

I have been digging through the workshop manual and it tells you how to do mostly everything.

I can not however find where it goes through the oil change, manual transaxle change, engine coolant change and brake fluid change.

Does anyone have documentation on how to do these?

Thanks

Its there but very blunt..for trans: remove fill plug, remove drain plug..fit drain plug, fill trans, fit fill plug.."aka very blunt"

Engine, trans, coolant, brakes...all basic auto mechanic knowledge, we learn the Aston Martin way prefered on the course given to us by Aston Martin in the Intro course.

In the W.S.M check code: 07.03.BC, thats for the trans to show you what I mean by blunt. For the coolant, it's there too but in cooling systems and engine ..need to drain rad and engine

For the brake bleed, it's done by AMDS(are computer), can be done the old fashion way, but AMDS is the prefered way by Aston Martin

Engine oil change, don't think the procedure is in there anymore..again we learn these maintance procedures on Aston Martin Intro Course..I just check the manual for the capacity's if I weren't sure and just needed to double check things

Thanks Irish. I always appreciate you help, and thought I was losing it when I could not find them broken out anywhere.

I have to remind myself that an Aston is still just a car and the fluids are changed in a very similar manner, lol

Shhhh!! ..ppl might hear you

all jokes aside, there are somethings different..most cars don't have dry sump, so you'll have to drain the sump ..4.3L is by the screens(like a bike motor)..and 4.7L has deleted the screens and gone with drain plugs for the dry sump..

Way I drain the engine oil..get all fender covers on vehicle, lift and take off lower engine cover ..this is about 10mins that has lapsed, which then I drain the oil tank, fit back plug with new gasket, remove filter and once oil is at a drip fit new filter, (4.3L) remove the dry sump 1x drain plug and front screen, fit new plug and new screen seal, remove rear screen and then fit new seal, (4.7L) remove 3x drain plugs for sump and refit 3x new drain plugs..fill up with new 10W60 Castrol TWS (10L), if there is a oil sweat I clean area and add bottle of dye(not just any, it is made for engine oil to detect leaks) to engine oil from Aston to be checked next service, and client will be advised to monitor oil level to be safe..let engine run to bleed system...engine oil change done

Thanks Irish. I did not even think to take off the lower engine cover....thought removing the seperate plugs and washing the screens would be enough?

Volante you have to, they get in the way of the filter..older coupe (4.3L) the oil tank drain plug cannot be accessed(no hole), newer coupes there is a access hole for the oil tank drain plug..depending on the model depends if you remove the lower shield for a basic oil change..I remove all of them for I do "complete" service..can't do a perfect visual unless they are removed
