What is the best place to source Aston Martin parts? Looking for quality parts, Original or OEM parts at the best prices, and supplied either locally in the mid atlantic (USA), or shipped (without being gouged on shipping fees)
For example, right now I am looking for the best deal/value on factory rear rotors and partking brake pads for my DB9...
thanks

^^^ thanks buddy...got your PM and replied...
I was looking more for a US based supplier or the US counterpart to the English supplier, maybe a dealership here in the US that can wholesale price or discount? Or maybe (like with Porsche) they have suppliers that get OEM parts from Germany and sell them here, distrubuters like Pelican Parts or Zeckhausen.... similar to that maybe but for Aston Martin...
Just don't wanna deal with overseas exchsnge rates, time, shipping costs etc...
thanks

I know you're looking for a source in the U.S., but AstonMartinBits.com in England sells genuine Aston parts for the full range. The new parts can be about half the price of what Aston charges (even after the exchange rate), and they also have used parts, which are about a quarter of what Aston charges for the new parts. Unfortunately, they have a limited catalog. That said, they may be able to get parts that they do not advertise online.
^^^ Yeah I clicked on AstonMartinbits.com in England and did a search under db9 and all I found were accessory items like car cover, dust shield and stuff like that...didn't find any brake rotors...
Email them. They didn't have CF splitters listed on the web site, but they told me they can get them when I emailed.

Hover over 'Models' then click on 'DB9'...there's lots of stuff.
Okay you guys are right...what was I thinking I must have been clicking another site...Aston Martin bits looks good, I found the stuff for Db9 and they do have brake parts, in fact they have a lot of nice parts
...
I will have to email them. What's the process? Select part(s)...email...then since I don't use paypal or anything like that I guess wire the money in USD? then wait on it to arrive?
I really have no experiece ordering overseas, I know you guys are gonna laugh,
... it make me a little nervous

It's not a big deal. I ordered a couple of leather holders for my glass "ECU" keys and a hood badge. I can't remember how I paid, but it was either via PayPal or a credit card. Those guys are really good to deal with. Shipping can be expensive for larger parts (like the splitter), but their prices are way better than from Aston.
The prices on HWM are comparable to Astonbits and include VAT (that ~17 or 18% I think which would be deducted from an international order). As I mentioned in my PM, I've had really good experience calling them directly and was offered lower prices that what they list online as well as other advantages. I just gave them my cc# over the phone. Have PM'd you more details.
You should try both and see what gets you the lowest price.

Ironically enough, the cheapest place for me was going directly to an Aston dealer in UK. They sold me all the parts I waas looking for for 30-50% vs. USA dealers ... And that was AFTER currency change. You think it would be the opposite but it's not
AC, can you share the information for HWM with the group? I haven't heard of them and I'm guessing others haven't either. Thanks.
Anyway, here's the skinny ... HWM was a dealer I noticed who ran a lot of eBay auctions for Aston accessories and parts. I needed a few things that I had seen them sell in the past but that they did not currently have up on eBay so I called them directly to get a quote and see what the costs would be for shipping to Canada. After exchange, shipping (UPS) and import fees (Cdn taxes, brokerage and applicable duty) the final tally was ~50% of what I was quoted by my local dealer for the same OEM items. It's a total no brainer ...
... and I also found Rob, the sale guy I dealt with in parts, to be extremely accommodating and personable. V nice guy. It was a smooth experience from end to end.
