You asked...

A model dressed like a stripper is beneath any Aston. Models are OK, but they should enhance the car, not detract from it.

There was a similar thread some time ago where one of the wheel companies (IIRC) had a bunch of skanks posing with the Astons. LOTS of negative comments for that one.

Didn't realize your post was seeking attention?

I'm not impressed by the models, and I've seen your car a lot already. Didn't see a need to comment...until you asked.

Bro I am so not be-fitting of the DB9 mold, I'm brown, mid 30's, recently single (no wife just broke up w the ex gf), live in the city and still go out when I can and have fun lol!! ... hey anyone got a v12 Vantage I can trade into lol!! haha I do love the DB9, it's the prittiest car ever and I think that rocking the stereotype a bit is fun, and people are caught off guard lol...I must admit though the AM crowd is a good one, lots more enthusiasts than I expected...coming from Porsche background it's nice to see some more scope than purely performane all the time.
No, no, I get that, it's just the repeated joke on PistonHeads that the Vantage guys use to razz the DB9 owners.

I like the site. The Brits can be a bit critical of us Yanks, which can get old, but there's good info there and more posts relevant to the V12 cars.

There's just an Aston forum same as here, but more DB9 and V12V owners posting.

And vice versa - the Vantage owners are tracksuit wearing, earring adorned, poorly behaved and ill-educated children driving an underpowered pram (stroller to you), when compared to the heroic, refined, illustrious and regal DB9 owners

Not everyone is critcal of the yanks Rex

And it's good to buck the perceived trends of ownership - I'm mid-30s and probably the only person who is looking at SERIOUSLY modifying their car, something many of you enjoy doing.

FWIW, I enjoyed the shots of the models. They're pretty girls and wearing fairly revealing clothing... what's not to like

Happy to loan my car for a shoot in the UK...

You're right yeti. My comment was a bit misleading, or at least imprecise. I should have said a few of the Brits can be critical, and those few like to make anti-'merican comments from time to time. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. Most are good blokes though, and Marcos is definitely one of the good ones!

Marcos (or shall I say Yeti) thanks for the comment on the shoot...looks like it was reveiwed critcically as most did not like the pics.

On a related note, I did visit Pistonheads and it seems like a active AM forum...so am I right in saying that the 6speed and Pheads AM forums are the most active? Doesn't liik like AMlife or AMOC or others really have much traffic...

IMO, 6-Speed and Pistonheads are the best Aston forums.
