Over the weekend our local Aston Martin Dealer who is new this year held an event and brought out 4 cars, a v8 Vantage convertible, a DBS, a Rapide, and a gorgeous Ellwood blue v12 Vantage. I was the 5th car in the line parked right in front of the venue, my slate blue DB9 parked just behind the bright blue v12v. It was a fantastic night, although I was the only customer car there, still had a blast meeting the folks. We had a very nice compllimentary dinner and bottle service all night long at a newly opened roof top lounge overlooking significant K St in DC and then over at another club for a portion of the night. There was also a joint event with a group of exotics which I was a part of also, I think it was a combined event coordinated by the 2 groups. We had the entire block sectioned off for the cars, Astons in the front half of the block and ferraris, lambos and the lot just afterwards. It was great, a lot of people stopped by just to take pictures. Here are some that my friend took:

Great event, and great pics! I really like that blue on the V12V. Kinda sorta wishing I had it on my V12V!

 

the v12V color in that bright smurf looking Ellwood blue is really great....reminds me of the BMW Leguna Seca blue in the e46 M3!!

^^^ they probably don't need to ...ours here is has been restuctured, the original owners went away, and now the new dealer with now ownership and a new building with a location just down Rt. 7 in McLean VA just opened up this year. My guess is they are trying to gain momentum, create awareness and get people to know about the new dealership...I spoke with the owner Andy at length during the event over the weekend...he's a really nice guy, and a Brit so he really wants the best for the brand and has strong ties with Aston Martin in the UK.
