Hello to you all.

I have a 2007 V8 Vantage and I have a question about the instrument panel lighting. I noticed that I have to adjust it brighter for daytime use and adjust it dimmer for nighttime use using the controls. Is this normal or should it be automatic (as in automatically brighten during the day)? I don't see anything about this in the user's manual.

There is a solar sensor on the top of the dash..I don't know if this was a standard fitment or option..not my field, but if you have the sensor you will have auto dimming. If the sensor is not working, vehicle would need to be scanned by your dealer for faults
