Vantage Wheel Spacers

Hi there,

My father has just traded his 997 C2 for an 07 Vantage and we are looking for some wheel spacers.

What do people generally opt as far as brand and dimensions?

Thanks a lot,
Paulo

Happy to help you Paulo - we have 15 & 20mm as Vince said, both in stock, and we usually recommend 15mm front & 20mm rear.

Shoot me an email - Stuart@RSCTuning.com and I can help you select what is best for you.

Vince,
Quick question: why didn't you mount your wheel spacers on ? Any concern with them on as far as suspensions are concerned ? Or equilibrium ?

By the way, has anyone got pictures with and without to share ? Would really help my decision making, as I'm serious thinking of going that route....if compliant with insurance policy in Europe....

^^^ Details? Did you have to make any modifications? Honestly, I can't see how 11mm can make any visible difference for the front.

Stuart, can you confirm what offset this puts the OEM wheels at? If my research is correct on the standard 7-spoke Vantage wheel this should put the wheels at:

Front: 19x8.5 +46 OEM; +31 w/ 15mm spacer
Rear: 19x9.5 +59 OEM; +39 w/ 15mm spacer

Thanks!

in my opinion, the OEM is:
front: 19x8.5 +50.5mm
rear: 19x9.5 +62.5mm
(for a Vantage 4.3/2008)

Does the H&R package comes with everything needed? How many hours of labor for the installation?

11mm actually makes a pretty big difference especially if the car is lowered. As for mod, it is a direct bolt on. Literally remove your wheel, pop on the spacer and mount the wheel. You will have to use the special lug nuts included in the kit for a secure fit.

Front is a 5min job. The rear is dependent on the wheel. If you have aftermarket wheels with extra spacing to allow for the stock studs, then it's also a 5min job. If not, you'll need to trim about 5-7mm of the stock studs. That's what I had to do on my V8 with stock wheels. Here's a better explanation and visual of what I am talking about - https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-part-1-a.html
