I have a set of 200 cell RSC Cats sitting on my garage floor

Hi everyone, haven't checked in for months since I sold the car, but I have a set of RSC 200 cells cats that I removed before I let it go. Will only fit the V12 engine as they came off a DB9.

They're phenomenal, deep rich bassy sound, totally transformed the car. I once pulled past a cop, accelerating hard through 70 in a 45 mph zone, and all he did was pull alongside me at the next light and tell me it was "the most awesome noise he'd ever heard" and to have a nice day. That's Ornage County for you.

They have about 8000 miles on them, would love them to go to a good home.

PM me if you're interested.

On a broader note, Stuart and RSC rock! Can't say enough positive about him.

Apologies if i just broke some rules, i really can't remember what they are.

Cheers,

Rob.

NJ has very tough emission laws too... (believe it or not) and I was quite relieved.

I don't think bamford uses quicksilver anymore, and quicksilver sells the parts uner its own name now i think.

new bamford headers are work of art compared to the quicksilvers.

They definitely look good, but why make them two piece headers instead of making them Fully TIG welded?

My guess, and its just a guess, is that they are 2 piece to aid in installation.

Has anyone tried running 150 cell cats. Would there be any significant performance difference compared with 200 cell. Im thinking from an '80 /20 principle' perspective that a 50 cell improvement could provide a surprisingly higher ratio improvement in performance.

I know someone with a 996 turbo that went for 150 cell cats which only just passed emissions testing but the performance was significantly better then 200 cell.

No, makes almost no difference. The big gains are from 400/600 cell cats down to 200 cell. From there on you are only talking usually 1-3hp at most.

Interesting. Must be that 996 turbo engine characteristics lend itself better to reduced cell cats then an Aston Martin.
