DB7 hot passenger area

After about an hour of driving, the passenger leg area becomes very warm with the heat coming from the center console area down where the lower leg would rest. The rug there is very warm, almost hot to the touch. What could be the problem? Thanks.

Bill

Check to make sure you didn't Loose or damage a heat shield in the transmission/torque tube tunnel nearest the location of the header collectors or mid pipe...

Anything hot in the foot well area usually leads me to suspect two things; heater core on its way out or heat shielding deteriorating/missing.
