How difficult to convert the front/rear V8V "S" bumpers to pre '12?

I am considering buying a '13 V8V because of the 7 speed, expanded standard equipment etc but I really do not like the gaping black front splitter and the half of the rear black diffuser (I want a white car). How difficult would it be to change out to the older style front/back lower bumpers and where would you buy them? I know this sounds stupid but I really like the '13 and the idea of ordering exactly what I want but I just can't get past the front/rear treatment(not elegant like the original). Thanks.

looks like the only difference is the bumper. should be able to swap it out with an old one someone sells on ebay.

you'll also have to make sure the color matches exactly. that could be a bit tough unless you want to go through the dealer to buy the parts as extras rather than swapping with someone else.

Better yet, get UK-spec bumpers without the side marker lights for an even cleaner look

Hey timwhayden, I'm getting ready to do the opposite on my Vantage, I really love the look of the V12 bumpers. I've got an 09 in stratus white, If you decide to pull the trigger please let me know and maybe we can work something out

I have a spare UK front bumper new that needs painting. Was going to replace my one but repaired it in the end.

It has a cleaner look without the indicator lights on it.

I have an 08 stratus white, would love to trade as well + cash

FYI front bumber is perfect, 14k on the car.

Problem of going this route is that US federal law seems to require those rear-side red markers and front-side orange markers (the orange ones drive me crazy). Anyhow, you might be able to get away with it for a while, but once you get pulled over and cited, I don't know what the fix would be other than getting a US-compliant bumper at that point.

Before you guys go swapping rear bumpers, make sure that you consider any swaps or adjustments that may also be needed to the exhaust system. I recently tried purchasing the exhaust that comes standard with the V8V S and was told that it could not be fitted on my '09 V8V because the mounting points were different. I was told it had to do with the new bumper that is on the V8V S.
